[…] it seems that the concern about a collapsing economic system, one that has not been a satisfactory response to the needs of large swaths of the world’s population, is too predominant in how we handle COVID-19. Those well off will most likely be disproportionately protected, and those the most vulnerable are likely to be disproportionately affected.
This is the time, I believe, for far-reaching, and global, love and social solidarity in the time of the Coronavirus.
